Nanotechnology-Driven Precision Manufacturing: Exploring its Potentials and Advances

Abstract
This study describes the production of structures using nano-processes, made possible by nanotechnology. The nano-processes and their suitable applications have been discussed in details. The long-term potential in the mainstream manufacturing scape is explored, as well as some advances that have been made in the recent years. In this study, a comprehensive overview of nanotechnology and how it synergizes with existing manufacturing techniques was considered, highlighting the synergy between nano-materials and precision engineering. Relevant innovations in additive manufacturing, lithography, and nano-assembly were also explored. These innovations are responsible for the manufacturing of intricate structures with unprecedented accuracy. The review also sheds light on the limitations and considerations associated with the adoption of nanotechnology in precision manufacturing.
