Abstract
This research project deals with the role of community recreational gardens in fostering social cohesion among residents in urban housing estates. Employing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and observational studies, it aims to comprehensively explore the impact of these green spaces on social dynamics. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating community recreational gardens into urban planning strategies, offering valuable insights for policymakers, city planners, architects, and community leaders alike. All key findings collected at the end of this project indicate that community recreational gardens serve as inclusive environments, promoting cross-generational interactions, cultural exchange, and the formation of social networks in housing estates.
