Abstract
Due to the global environmental condition changes and shortage of clean water resources, it is necessary to make the best use of the favorable conditions and water available with a system that can manage irrigation efficiently. The ongoing duty of managing irrigation is just one of the many obligations that farmers face in the course of their daily work. The farmer may frequently need to travel lots of kilometers to get to their crops and irrigation pumps. This study presents a system that attempts to achieve irrigation automation to the fullest extent possible, reducing the need for human involvement. The suggested strategy calls for setting up a wireless sensor network in the field to track the moisture content of the soil and turn on the water pump when the level drops below a certain threshold. This study introduces a revolutionary smart irrigation technology that will revolutionize the agricultural industry. This technology makes the best use of water resources by precisely predicting soil moisture through the use of machine learning and Internet of things technologies. It fills in a few of the gaps found in earlier studies, opening the door to more effective and sustainable farming methods. In terms of addressing the world's water shortage and raising agricultural productivity, the suggested smart irrigation represents a major advancement with its system's intelligence which is derived from a clever algorithm that considers observed data in addition to the elements of the near-term weather forecast, such as UV, humidity, precipitation, and air temperature.

Key words: Sensors and actuators. Smart irrigation System, NodeMCU.
