Abstract
This research paper investigates the Environmental and Sustainability impact of 5G-enabled Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). The integration of 5G technology into CAM processes is examined to understand its implications on environmental and sustainability factors within manufacturing operations. The study explores key themes such as sustainability, environmental impact, and green manufacturing, employing methodologies like Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and examining the alignment with principles of the Circular Economy. By leveraging keywords such as 5G, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, Sustainability, Environmental Impact, Green Manufacturing, Sustainable Manufacturing, Life Cycle Assessment, Circular Economy, Environmental Management, and Eco-efficiency, the research aims to shed light on how the adoption of 5G technology in CAM contributes to achieving eco-friendly and resource-efficient manufacturing practices. The paper not only delves into the positive outcomes of integrating 5G into CAM but also discusses the broader implications for sustainable manufacturing. Insights from this research are expected to contribute to the ongoing discourse on environmentally conscious industrial practices, emphasizing the importance of technological advancements like 5G in fostering a more sustainable and eco-efficient manufacturing landscape.
